I'm now retired but previously enjoyed over 20 years teaching 3rd grade in a public elementary school in a suburb of Philadelphia. I've also enjoyed traveling with my family all over, including a trip to Australia in 2000 when my daughter Emily was in the Olympics.

Chad and Susan (Burack) Finer
We married in June 1968, spent two years in Sierra Leone as Peace Corps volunteers (1968-70). then returned to teach in Vermont at The Putney School. Teaching was too difficult (for Chad). Chad went to Dartmouth Medical School and trained at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He spent two years in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont doing primary care and was regional medical examiner. He returned to the Hanover (NH) area in 1981 where he was an ER doctor until retiring in 2012. Susan taught history and was on the admissions committee at Putney School, and at Hanover (NH) High School. In 1976 we had our first child, with additional children in 1978, 1981, and 1983 (3 boys and one girl). Susan went on to be a middle school principal (again in Hanover) from 1984 until retiring in 2007. We have lived in Norwich, Vermont since 1981. Susan does some teaching at Dartmouth College now in the Ed department. Sorry we missed the reunion.

I have 7 beautiful grandchildren the oldest is 27 and the youngest is 5. I enjoy spending time with them. I have relatives and friends that live in the South so I can spend time in the south during winter months and the summer in NH. Where has 50 years gone? |
